E Scholar Program for Doctoral Students

The E Scholar Program offers a unique opportunity for entrepreneurial doctoral students from any discipline or academic area to be granted “Entrepreneurship Scholar” status by the School of Entrepreneurship. Scholars are typically appointed for 2 years to work on initiatives and participate in activities that link their current research to entrepreneurship. This is a critical component of the university-wide entrepreneurship initiative, where the entrepreneurial mindset and core entrepreneurship concepts are applied to disciplines across the campus. The Scholars come together regularly with Riata Faculty Fellows to contribute to ongoing discussions regarding cross-disciplinary applications of entrepreneurship, and the development of OSU as an entrepreneurial university. They also participate in a major biannual forum each year to share progress and outcomes from initiatives on which they are working. To date, four E Scholars representing three different Schools at OSU have been designated.
