Bruce Barringer, Ph.D., Interim Head, holds the Johnny D. Pope Chair in Entrepreneurship in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University. He is nationally recognized as an expert in entrepreneurship and strategy. He has authored the leading textbook in the nation on entrepreneurship. His books include Entrepreneurship: Successfully Launching New Ventures, Preparing Effective Business Plans, The Truth about Starting a Business, and What’s Stopping You? Shatter the 9 Most Common Myths Keeping You From Starting Your Own Business.
Bill Elliott, C.P.A., is an Accounting Professor at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Information Technology Professional. Before joining ORU, Bill was the Director of Faculty Development at the Oklahoma State University Institute for Teaching and Learning Excellence. Elliott has received numerous teaching awards from the OSU Spears School of Business and Oral Roberts University.
Lee Manzer, Ph.D.,is a Professor of Marketing in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University. Since coming to OSU in 1975 he has served as Department Head, Director of Graduate Studies, and Director of the Small Business Institute. He is a nationally recognized expert on service implementation. Manzer has presented service quality, goal setting, and leadership material to over 300 profit and not-for-profit organizations. The beneficiary of 14 undergraduate teaching awards: six voted by Spears School of Business students; four-time recipient of Spears School of Business outstanding teacher; four-time recipient of University-wide instructor of the year. He has taught over 23,000 students at OSU.
Michael H. Morris, Ph.D., holds the N. Malone Mitchell Chair in Entrepreneurship. Named one of the top Entrepreneurship Professors in the country by Fortune Small Business, Morris is widely published in academic journals, has authored several books and has been recognized for his development of award winning entrepreneurship programs in higher education. He has launched two ventures and has received numerous awards including the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. He has been honored as the Outstanding Faculty by three graduating MBA classes at Syracuse University.
