MSE New Venture Lab

MSE New Venture lab picture Located in Hanner Hall, the MSE New venture Lab provides a home for dreamers and doers. The New Venture Lab is a graduate student business incubator, which provides resources and support for new ventures started by graduate-level students at Oklahoma State University. Students enrolled in the Masters in Entrepreneurship (MSE) Program are given priority for space in the incubator.

The New Venture Lab is built around an intervention model, in which students work with faculty to set tangible goals and assess their performance in meeting those goals.

The New Venture Lab provides a place for entrepreneurial students to collaborate and learn from one another as they struggle through the early stages of venture creation. The incubator contains resources that help students establish their businesses and enable them to create sustainable business models. The primary focus of the New Venture Lab is on ventures that are scalable, and possess the potential for growth.

Students receive office space, access to computers, telephones, fax, and a conference room. In addition, students receive mentoring from successful entrepreneurs, regularly meet with subject matter experts, and enjoy insight and inspiration from provocative speakers. Students are also connected to resource providers, and have the opportunity to tap into resources from across the campus, including the New Produce Development Center and the Office of Intellectual Property Management.

The New Venture Lab is an extension of the OSU School of Entrepreneurship and is managed by the Riata Center for Entrepreneurship.
